one week later

the swelling has gone down. normal vision with both eyes open only happens when i look exactly 45 degrees to my right. after that everything becomes funky again.

i realise that i quite like the sudden brightness when i uncover the injured eye and cover up the right side. suddenly the world becomes much brighter and i become a little bit happier. its awesome. a little trippy though. I can’t really see straight and i do feel that muscle being restricted by the bone fragment sticking out a little. sounds gross but it really doesn’t hurt. from what i’ve read online, i THINK i’ve got what they call a blowout fracture. *cross fingers pray like mad that this is a small minor case*.

funny. i’ve only been warded in a hospital about 3 times in my life. the first time was obviously when i was born. 2nd time in 2005 cos of that dumb shoulder injury. 3rd time is this – 2008. hospital food sucks. the only edible thing was the steamed rice and the orange (which my dad peeled for me). my parents seem to be taking this quite well. i think as long as i don’t play contact rugby for the rest of the year, they’ll be fine. in the meantime..maybe underwater hockey?

ellen degeneres is frikkin funny. youtube rocks. ten images for ithaca is on the way (although it kinda looks a leetel bit lame at the moment). 2046 frida in the mood for love motorcycle diaries. these are the soundtracks of the past week at home.

God please give me my normal vision back.
