Day 23 Post-Op

Project New Knee is going well. Progress on target.

Challenge now is to figure out how to squeeze all the rehab exercises into the shortest time possible at the gym!!!!!!

So many to do. As it is, each time i go to the gym, i’m already spending nearly 2.5 hours there. This includes the 20 min bike / stairmaster ass busting cardio i have to do to get my Range Of Movement (ROM) back.

After that its basically the leg press (DL & SL), adductor and abductor machines, hip extension (yay! i could do it today! flexion better so can do), hamstring curl (on machine), wobbleboard squats (DL & SL), hamstring bridge (today did on swiss ball. glutes damn pain). In between, I throw in some core exercises and upper body exercises. and voila. 2 hours gone.

Then I come home and do 30 mins in the pool. Some walking, some kicking, some horizontal sprinting.

No wonder MC so long. It’s so that I can get on track with rehab.

Will be posting up photos of new knee soon.

I hope extension increases to -2 degrees this week.
