Post Op Week 13. still.

Went to the gym today to do a short full body weight training.
Squats on the smith, lunges on the smith. Low reps, heavy-er weights.
Very different when one is injured. kns. 30kg was quite strenuous for the lunge. But it was a good strain.
Might try again tmrw if I’m not seeing The Sarge.  Will have to work on the hammies and glutes too.
Come to think of it, it’s been about 2 weeks since I last did the MEGA KILLER LEGS workout.
Think I’ll do it this week! WOOT.
Need to step up on cardio intervals that last for a period of 40 – 60 mins.
It’s time to push up the endurance to prep for running.
Just read somewhere that it is probably better idea to do weight training 3 times a week and cardio-based training 2 times a week. Kinda makes sense too. Allowing the body to rest is crucial.
Post weight training tonight I did 20 mins of rope skipping.
For the life of me I can’t seem to skip rope properly. Feet keep getting tangled. Crap.
Right leg still not THAT much strength to push off the ground.
I think my rope is abit too long too.
So anyway I come home tonight and this is what happens.
Yours Truly steps into the house..
me: “hi mummy”
mother:”Have you been playing rugby?!?!?!?!?!?!”
me: “what?!?!?!?!??!?! of course not!!!!”
mother: “i saw your long socks in the laundry”
me: ” ALAMAK! I used it for halloween costume!!!!!”
mother:”oh…ok…i nearly got gastric attack when i saw the socks.”

then i proceed to show my mother photographic evidence of me wearing socks for my halloween costume.

*faint*
